  Great Building and parking. Great reception people and great nurses and vets. Probably the only Vet in Newport that doesn't see your pet as furry money. I could have my pet treated under the free pet scheme down Cardiff, but I choose SummerHill as they make me feel comfortable with either a check up or leaving my beloved friend for an Op. Based on strong foundations, lovely, professional business for the health and safety of our little loved ones, which they deserve. Definitely an option...thee option for new pet owners. SummerHill Veterinary Centre Thank you.

  Absolutely disgusted by the treatment received at this "Veterinary practice" not only are the staff incompetent, they are vile and rude, the building is dated and the inside filthy. They performed the WRONG SURGERY on my Dog and charged us £500 for the procedure. The attitude of the "nurse" was despicable and completely unnecessary causing distress to both myself, my partner and our Dog. We have a WAD of Invoices stating that we have paid over £2000 to Summerhill "Veterinary practice" in the past Year to treat our Dog with the issue she's had with her ears, they were informed of the procedure and acknowledged what her requirements were, Completed a Consent form that WITHOUT MEDICAL TRAINING IS COMPLETE JARGON! ! They also knew it took a long time for us to save this money for her operation to stop her suffering YET STILL went ahead and performed the WRONG PROCEDURE Causing financial, emotional and mental stress for all concerned. AVOID THIS PRACTICE, THEY ARE OUT FOR FINANCIAL GAIN. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU OR YOUR BELOVED PETS! ! !

  Absolutely disgusted with the treatment received at this "Veterinary Practice" Payment was made for almost £500 to operate on my beautiful Frenchie, they have treated her for over a year prior to this for ONE ISSUE - The reason for her Operation, taken over a £1000 in costs to treat her and when we finally saved enough for the operation they spoke complete jargon that only a medical professional would understand and performed the WRONG SURGERY on my Dog!! FOR YOUR OWN SANITY PLEASE AVOID THIS PRACTICE, THEY ARE INCOMPETENT AND WILL ONLY DRAIN YOUR WALLETS AND TRAUMATISE YOUR BELOVED PETS IN THE PROCESS!!
